How To Store Tea
Like every other product of the kitchen cupboard, tea leaves can be stored in cool airtight boxes away from direct daylight. When exposed to air, tea leaves have a tendency to loose it natural flavour and the cup of tea may taste off. When tea leaves are acquired in quantitiy, it is best to store the major portion of tea in an opaque container and to employ a tiny container for day to day use. It’ll limit the exposure of tea leaves to air.
Tea leaves can absorb moisture and odour and thus it is critical to store tea leaves correctly, whether or not it is loose tea or tea bags. Exposing the tea to moisture may cause a mould attack and utterly degrade the entire tea. Thus it’s critical to avoid storing tea in fridge or freezers as it can absorb moisture.
